Toren van Oud, Den Haag
The year 2018 started with an interesting assignment for DJK for the engineering and provision of the steel construction for the transformation of the empty Toren van Oud in The Hague into 38 short stay apartments and a commercial function in the plinth.
The building has a height of 65 meters, has 18 floors and is triangular in shape. The tower was built in the 1960s. The concrete core included chimneys for the climate control system of the nearby congress building and access to the floors and has been converted and renovated more than 50 years later.
